About the Angola-EU Lobito Corridor Business Forum

The Lobito Corridor is booming! And Angola – as its main venue – is now in the international spotlight for investment and partnerships.

The Angola–EU Lobito Corridor Business Forum 2026 is a focused platform designed to accelerate this process in agriculture, agro-industry, and transport & logistics along one of Africa’s trade routes with biggest potential of development.

Building on the experience of the 2023 Forum, the 2026 edition will concentrate on these priority sectors with a clear objective: turning dialogue into concrete projects and mobilising financing.

One Forum, Two Phases

Phase I – Online (six weeks prior to the main event, 16 March to 4 May 2026)

A key innovation of this Forum is its two phased structure.

The first phase will feature online briefings and virtual matchmaking and meetings, including practical sessions for Angolan companies on trading with Europe and for European companies to better understand Angola’s business environment, regulatory framework, and market opportunities and challenges. It will allow businesses and institutions to identify partners and initiate discussions in advance, so that the in-person sessions in Angola (Phase II) will be more targeted, productive, and impactful.

Phase I highlights

  • Export readiness and EU market access, including regulatory requirements, standards, and value-chain integration opportunities
  • Online briefings on priority sectors and investment conditions in Angola
  • Virtual B2B matchmaking to initiate partnerships ahead of the Forum

Phase II – In person (Luanda, 5-6 May 2026)

Phase II will take place over two days in Luanda. It will bring together leaders, investors, and businesses from Angola, neighbouring corridor countries, and the EU.

Phase II highlights

  • High-level dialogue with public and private decision-makers
  • Targeted B2B and matchmaking focused on bankable projects
  • Project showcases and financing pathways in priority sectors
